In this seventh year, the company changed its regular event to the Snapdragon Summit, which previously used the Qualcomm Tech Summit. Despite changing names, Qualcomm is still holding an introduction event for their various new and innovative technologies in Maui, Hawaii, United States.

What will Qualcomm discuss at this event? This year, several main topics will be addressed in the 2022 Snapdragon Summit, like new chipsets, AI, mixed reality, and platforms for computing.
At this critical event, they will introduce two types of processors: the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 is a chipset with increased power and performance to enhance the device experience.
Meanwhile, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 offers a choice of high-end features and technologies and expands access for mobile users in the middle class.
"This year, Qualcomm will focus more on improving technology in terms of performance and AI," said Dominikus when they met in Hawaii.
In addition, the company also promises to introduce several innovations in terms of augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (XR), and computing.
